We love our Pelican Cases! Never have we found anything that will take all we can dish out; not even Land Cruisers!

Pelicans are 100% water and air tight. They have a purge valve to compensate for air pressure changes if traveling between elevations. That might sound like a dumb feature...until you fly with a sealed case without one!

The latching mechanisms are the best available ... you just push down and they lock. Also, they are very easy to open/close in the dark or with heavy gloves on.

For many years these cases were the exclusive domain of high-end photographers and the military. We started using them about 10 years ago for camping and have never looked back. There is something comforting in knowing that your stuff is 100% safe!

For better or worse it seems that about every other time I go into the woods it is raining and wet. The Pelicans are great in that I can unload my truck and just toss the cases out in the rain knowing the contents ill be 100% dry!

The cases usually come in different colors. I would strongly recommend getting an assortment of colors. I have asked folks to "grab my 1500 case" and they have come back with a 1200! Much easier to ask them to grab the yellow case or the green case! Ask us about special colors, we generally can get most any color you need.

Foam inserts are available for all of the cases. We do not sell the cases with foam on a regular basis. if you have an application that requires foam contact us and we will be able to quote you a price.

1200 Pelican™ Case

The 1200 is the perfect size for a first aid kit. I have one floating around in the back of the FJ80 at all times. It will fit under the seat of a stick 40 series or 60 series as well. I also use the 1200 size for my on board electrical repair kit. With a little careful packing I can fix just about anything electrical from that little box!

1300 Pelican™ Case
The 1300s seem to be the best size for carrying small tools and also seems to be about the best size for a spares box. I cram all the little things like rotor and cap as well as spare belts and such into it and it slides out of the way. You can fit a lot more than you think you can into one!

1400 Pelican™ Case

The 1400 seems to be the best size for carrying tools. I used to use a 1500 but it just got too damn heavy! I carry two 1400s and they hold about every tool I need for most any trip.

1450 Pelican™ Case

We use the 1450 to store most of our kitchen gear in. Anyone that goes out in the woods with me knows all the crap I bring and I can fit almost all of it into 2 1450s. The one danger with these case is that you can really put a lot of stuff into them. They get real heavy real quick!

I use a 1500 mounted on the swing out tire carrier to hold all of my recovery gear and the base plate for the hi lift jack. I also have a 1500 to use to fit all my food and perishable items into in the back of the truck.

1650 Pelican™ Case

Originally I started off with two 1650s. They are great but they are really big! Now I use them on the roof rack ... semi-permanently mounted ... or as giant food containers if we are leaving camp for a while and need a bear-proof box to store food and gear in. A 1650 will fit in the back end of a 60 or 80 series with room to spare.
